The professional staff of StatWorks is headed by founder, Suzanne Hackett. Our staff includes statisticians, programmers, data managers and project managers, many with advanced degrees and all experienced in biostatistical and data management processes in clinical trials. We complement our in-house staff with an excellent network of local and national resources for trial analysis and the creation of full service teams for clinical trial conduct.
President and FounderMs. Hackett has been practicing Biostatistics in drug development for over 20 years. Before establishing StatWorks, Ms. Hackett was previously employed as the Director of Biometrics for a large CRO. Ms. Hackett's experience is broad, encompassing a variety of therapeutic areas and statistical components of the development process, including protocol design and sample size calculations, analysis plans, randomization schedules, statistical analysis, DSMB Committee participation, and project management. |
Chief Executive OfficerMr. Paul has over fifteen years experience in project management, data management, and clinical trials operations while serving in a variety of positions at large multinational CROs. Mr. Paul has served as Project and Program Manager for a variety of Phase I through Phase IV projects, including several global Phase III trials and three NDA submissions. In addition, Mr. Paul has significant experience in technology development and implementation in the clinical trials arena. |

Director, Information Technology
Robert Beaumont
Mr. Beaumont has worked in both the life sciences and healthcare industries for over 19 years. During that time he has provided a variety of technology services including work on one of the first Interactive Voice Response Systems used in clinical trials; the implementation of Clintrial at the one of the worlds largest CRO and the build-out of large India based health care claims processing center.
Robert joined StatWorks in 2007 after consulting with StatWorks since 2000 and as a senior manager provides for all Information Technology, Computer System Validation and Database Administration services.
Project Director
Kimberly New, CCRA
Kimberly New has over 20 years of experience in both the CRO and pharmaceutical industry. She earned her bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Statistics from Eastern Kentucky University. She began her career as a statistical programmer and was the primary lead programmer for the ISS and ISE for a cardiovascular product later approved by the FDA. She has supported over 50 pharmaceutical companies (phase I-IV) in the areas of data management, programming and project management. She also oversaw clinical data management and site management activities with a late-phase CRO. Prior to joining StatWorks, Ms. New was the Project Director for a specialty pharmaceutical company overseeing the execution of clinical trials including CRO & Vendor selection & management, clinical monitoring, site management, clinical supplies, subject material development, training and oversight of data management and statistical analysis activities.
Associate Director, Statistical Programming
Thomas Clinch
Thomas Clinch has over 17 years of experience in both the CRO and pharmaceutical industry. His experience encompasses project management, data management, statistics, program development, and information technology. Prior to joining StatWorks in 2008, Mr. Clinch was the Director of Informatics for a specialty pharmaceutical company managing the company’s statistical programming, biostatistics and information technology functions.

Ms. Sandra Miller
Ms. Miller received her B.S. in Zoology from North Carolina State University. She has over 10 years experience in the CRO industry. Her data management experience includes managing Phase I through Phase IV clinical trials of all sizes in therapeutic areas which includes and is not limited to: Oncology, Cardiology, Virology/Infectious Diseases, Respiratory, and Endocrine/Metabolic. After joining StatWorks, Inc. in 2007, she has provided senior management for all data management, clinical coding, and clinical programming services
